What a skill is

A skill is a reusable set of instructions that tells the agent how to handle a specific kind of task. It turns “rewrite the prompt every time” into “invoke one tag”.

Using one

Call the skill by its tag in the conversation. The agent follows the defined procedure, so you skip re-explaining it.

When it helps

• You repeat the same kind of task (a certain report, a fixed review flow)
• A standard procedure you share across a team
• A long prompt where you only need one slice of it
